Dare to Dream
Star light. Star bright. First star I see tonight. I wish I may. I wish I might. Have the wish I wish for tonight.

Marriage -- It's a personal choice
Thanks Sammie for the email. It was really nice of you to share it with your lil sisters. The conversation that we had while breaking fast together was indeed an eye opener. Really appreciate it and I love you so much babe! I love Kak Maisyah too!

Marriage has never been intriguing to me. However, while in the mood of love, we tend to forget that with marriage, comes RESPONSIBILITY and that is the thing that freaks me out. I guess when you're in love, you also tend to "close one eye" on everything when actually the most important thing to do is to safeguard yourself and to open your eyes to everything. You only learn to "close one eye" after marriage coz seriously, there is only so much that you can do to change a person. For example, you cannot change me to not be a workaholic but you can certainly help me to learn to take time off from work, have a breather, rest and learn to enjoy life. And being a kitchen klutz, it also means that I do not do very well in the cooking department so that warrants a worry because life with me means eating out often or engaging a personal chef if you can afford it! Hehehe!

Whatever one's reason is for marrying early or late, I think most importantly is one's mental and spiritual readiness to embark on a new lease of life. Life together means doing almost everything together so if you think you're ready to share your life, hopes and dreams with someone special, then go ahead. However, if like me, you feel that there is so much personal growth that needs to be done, then taking your time and letting time decide is perhaps the best option for now.
