Dare to Dream
Star light. Star bright. First star I see tonight. I wish I may. I wish I might. Have the wish I wish for tonight.

What if today is your last...?
What if today is your last day on earth?
What if tomorrow never come?

It just dawned upon me how vulnerable our life is and how insecure we all are. Today, we may be enjoying life in our little comfort zones but what if something happens tomorrow? I overheard a short argument by the photocopier machine earlier today and I was amazed at how cool and calm a fellow colleague was when she was put in a spot. She claimed that it was a Libra thing. But whatever it was, I certainly learnt that patience is the best gift that any human being can have. So babe, treasure that trait of yours.

I was rummaging through my wallet when I saw 2 pairs of movie ticket stubs which I watched last year and they were Madagascar and In Good Company. And suddenly I remembered why I kept them. Suddenly, I miss somebody.

Life sucks at times.

Work trip gone muddy
It was drizzling in KL and the moment we reached the hotel, Jihan informed us during the rehearsal the night before, everyone left the concert venue with mud stained feet. In my heart, I knew it was a BAD sign. So bad that I knew I was going to stain my $50 plus shoe which was only a few months old. But what I did not realize was the repercussion it had on my pair of shoes. It was so bad that my shoes cannot be saved!

So once the concert ended, Irna and I rushed to the toilet to wash our feet. That's Irna washing her feet and her shoes. Even her purple heels cannot be saved. The only difference between her shoes and mine was that hers was bought years ago during her poly days while mine was relatively new.

But on a more positive note, the next morning, I bought a new pair of shoes and it was SO comfortable! So NO more blisters and plasters! And despite the muddy ground, I had a wonderful evening.

Sheela, Yati & Irna

So lesson learnt. NO MORE PRETTY SHOES IF IT RAINS. Time to move on to the good old yet reliable selipar Jepun.

And Irna, your relatives were such a warm bunch -- mama, along, ah ngah, uda and adik. Made me feel so welcomed and at home. Thank you so much dear!

Ariel
I just have to thank Alex for this.

Because of him, Zalina, Natra, Idreene and myself got a chance of a lifetime to get up close and personal with our favourite Indonesian band, Peter Pan. And Ariel was so cool, cute and nice! He didn't even turn us down when we asked to have our photos taken with him.

Simple pleasures in life...
Spending time with Zul, Irna, Net, Fins & Wawa
Singing out loud in the office with Idreene
Yasmin Ahmad and her films
My morning coffee and seeing how it is prepared
Lunch time
My sister

The sun was up but I was still sleeping in bed. Suddenly the door opened and in came my 6 years old sister who ran in to give me a quick peck before she left for school.

Will anyone else give me a peck on the cheek while I'm half-awake and smelly?

I guess beneath the laughter, there's tears
Sad but true.

So if you ever feel like crying, please do.
