What's happening to the world??!!
While you are busy wasting your time away thinking that school sucks, other children in 3rd world countries yearn for the opportunity to learn and study.

While you are busy clearing your wardrobe and getting rid of your old clothes, other children in 3rd world countries are suffering out in the cold with insufficient clothing.

While you are busy eating all the fat laden food and junks, other children in 3rd world countries yearn for a slice of bread or even a scoop of rice.

While you are busy browsing the papers for the latest handphone model to purchase, other children in 3rd world countries may have only heard of a telephone but could get hold of NONE.

While you are depressed thinking about the latest break-up, other children in 3rd world countries are depressed because they have NO HOME & NO FOOD.

While you think your parents suck because they control you, other children in 3rd world countries have to beg by the roadside because they have NO PARENTS to turn to for love.

While you complain that life in Singapore is hard, other children YOUR AGE are probably throwing stones at Army tanks or fearing for their lives living in refugee camps.

Do you think you are lucky? I do.

My lecturer's name is...
My lecturer's name is Mr Chua NOT Mr Choo or Mr Chew! Hehehehehh!!! I attended my second lecture today. I had to skip last Thursday's lecture coz I was working late. Gonna skip this coming Thursday's lecture AGAIN coz I'm working Late AGAIN!!!! Alamak!!! This is NOT good! I pay $13k +++ worth of school fees to attend school NOT to skip lessons! Hhmm... maybe I'II rush to class after work or something... take a cab maybe.

Talking about cab, when am I getting my pay cheque? I'm SOOOOO Broke right now and I'm surviving on my pathetic savings. I cannot touch the money in my bank account coz it is reserved for my school fees. It's really sad to be in my shoes... hehehhehe!!! But hey, all these sacrifices are worth it! It is for a better tomorrow, a brighter future.

Its the holiday season and everyone's going for some kind of holiday, a retreat, an adventure trip. Where am I going? Nowhere... just stay in sunny S'pore and WORK, WORK, and WORK!

Going to Thomson Medical Ctr tmr to recce the labour ward for my filming session. Ever wonder how a labour ward looks like? Hhmm...I've got a filming session at TMC this Thursday.

Things to do:
- Doula filming script
- EP 11 LINK script
- search for challenges for the presenters
- finalise letter of appt
- get updates from hajar & feeza

Class just started....
After about 2 weeks of break, my class has officially started today - May 17th 2004. My lecturer, Mr Chew or is it Mr Choo??? Hhmm... whatever... is a funny guy! I like him! Enjoyed his class just now but this is only the first class so it's still too early to tell if he's really good.

My boss has replied on my offline. I'm just glad he likes it so tomorrow I'II have to get Kak Mah to send tape to TV12 since Zulinah will be away for filming.

Zulinah told me that she doesn't like the windsurfer. I'm NOT too sure what she meant and I'm going to ask her tomorrow. I'm getting the presenters to try windsurfing in one of their challenges! Wonder how Suhaimi is gonna windsurf! Kwa...kwa...kwa...! By the way, I'II be meeting the windsurfer guy this week... maybe on Wednesday.

I was soooo sleepy that I dozed off for about 5 minutes in the office. The weekend was terrible coz I was working till almost midnight on Saturday and I've got tuition on Sunday morning followed by an extremely LONG meeting session and it was really hard to stay focus. But never mind.... I promise myself NOT to work on either Wednesday or Thursday coz I have filming on Friday. Full day filming... NO JOKE!

Gosh... what's with everyone???
Everyone around me are having some sort of relationship related problems...

Firstly, I almost forgot that Pesta Perdana is this Friday and I haven't got myself a bag to go with my green jacket and skirt... Maybe I'II buy the bag on Thursday or something. I met Linda in the office and she told me she's NOT going to Pesta!!! Oh dear! But she said that she'll write a short thank you speech for us to bring just in case 647km2 wins AGAIN!!!! It's really competitive this time round and I believe that Ikon Wanita has a great chance of winning. All the best everyone! This is a healthy competition.

Next, most of the people around me are suffering from relationship related problems. I guess sometimes it pays not to be in one... yeah sometimes it gets lonely but it also spares you from all the nitty gritty problems. Either way, it has its pros and cons.

Another friend of mine is suffering from depression and I really dont understand her. She's really weird at times coz here I am making myself available for her to dump ALL her problems at me but she's just .. so elusive that I cannot catch hold of her. Seriously gf, if you want help, you have to help yourself first and only then I CAN HELP YOU!

I have filming at the Seng Choon Egg Farm later today and the make-up artist is picking me up at 8 am at LOT 1 taxi stand. It's 1.30 AM now and I still have not bathed, not eaten my dinner and I'm really exhausted mentally.

But its okay. GOD tests us in different ways and this is HIS test for me. Later today I'II buy 3 hot mochas for myself, Khairudin & Yusof. All 3 of us definitely needs the cuppa to keep us awake for the long filming day ahead.

Chow peeps!

The BEST Birthday Ever...
Why was it the BEST birthday ever?

1) Jules gave me the complete MOONFLOWER set - perfume, body lotion, shower cream, fragrance oil, oil burner and tealight candles.
2) The Pearlines gave me a Surprise by hiding my bag during Eidul Zahra and replacing it with a nice brown bag. I'm bringing it to work now.
3) The Pearlies also gave me a Perlini's ring. It's got a big stone so that I can show it off to Ms Klutz.
4) During Eidul Zahra, Atiqah gave me a flimsy birthday card. It wrote,"This may be a BUDGET card but it comes from our heart" and on the outside it says Happy 24th Birthday Kak Yati and in it, Atiqa drew the 4 siblings - me, Khay, Apul & Ika. It's from my siblings. They made it minutes before they left home for the majlis. It was really sweet of them and I'm bringing the flimsy card wherever I go by keeping it in my note book.
5) My colleagues planned a birthday surprise for me & Jules in the office. It was really sweet of them!
They also gave me a pair of shoes. It was pretty!

Actually Jules and I suspected that the rest were up to something since they kept asking if both of us were coming to work on Friday. On Friday itself, Jules and I decided to teach the rest a "LESSON". I mean if you want to plan a surprise, do it professionally like we did for Netty and Fini. Everthing went smoothly. Zero hiccups. So when Jules saw Fini & Zulinah running up to 2nd floor the moment they came back, we knew it! They must have bought a cake and must be busy arranging the food etc. So we LEFT the office to go to 7-11. Heheheheh!!! When Fini called me, I told her that we're in 7-11 and will only be back in half an hour. She sounded disappointed and when Jules and I reached the office, we sneaked quietly up to the 2nd floor and when we came in, the rest looked calm and composed and I didn't see any traces of food or cake. So we went downstairs telling the rest that we're both eating on the first floor so soon after, the rest came down, Wawa switched off the lights and Zulinah came in with the cake!!! My colleagues bought me a pair of shoes since I only wear my TEVA sandals to work and nothing else! How thougtful of them! Actually I've been wanting to buy a pair of shoes.... it's just that I'm on a TIGHT budget right now. But since they've bought it for me, well, I can save the $$$$ for something else!

THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR MAKING MY 24TH BIRTHDAY A MEMORABLE ONE!
