I just got my pay cheque today.... Yipeeeeeee!!!! But then again, I'm only getting 50% of my payment. I will probably be getting my next pay cheque in early or mid December! Ain't this frustrating??!! The project is long over and I've to wait for more than a month to get my full payment. So ridiculous!

How to look good even though I'm wearing old raya clothes...
1) Instead of the usual black tudungs, switch to colored tudungs to match your baju kurung.
So today I just bought a pink and green tudung costing $5 each at Jurong Point. It'll match my green and pink baju kurung which I'm gonna wear again this year. But the green tudung doesnt look too good with my baju kurung coz the color that I bought is a bit off. But who cares?!
2) The use of make-up can do wonders. I am of course a make-up idiot. So how does a make-up idiot start buying or even putting on make-up? So my plan is to get the sales assistant to help me pick out the right color for a blusher. Yup people I'm buying blusher. Wonder how I'II look with a blusher. Worse still, how do I start applying blusher??!! No worries coz in my line of work, I've witnessed many make-up artists doing make-up so I'II try to imitate the strokes.... I think should be easy lah.
3) And finally, a dash of ATTITUDE & CONFIDENCE....
And I'm ready to whisk off to my grandma's on Sunday morning.
Best of all, I'm going to spend less than $50 for this Raya's preparations!!! Yipeeeeeeee!!!!

| It was Tahu Hotplate |
In my previous entry, I wrote that we had tahu sumbat. Well you know what... it wasn't tahu sumbat but hotplate tahu. Heheheheh!!! Thanks Ihsan for correcting me. I'm so BLUUUR that I dont even know what I ate!
By the way, this Hari Raya, I'm not going to buy any new clothes coz my pay cheque is still not in. Anyway, I have enough old baju kurungs that still look good enough to be worn for this Raya. So its okaylah. Can do.

| Stulang oh stulang... |
Steamed fish in tom yam soup, buttered prawns, fried kangkong, mushrooms, tahu sumbat and mushroom fried rice. What a meal it was!
All at a meagre price of RM$14.00 per person and you could feast like a king behind a backdrop of motorbikes racing past by as if they were in the race circuit.
All the more enjoyable in the company of the happening bunch - Abg Im, Sam, Hafiz, Yah, CT Zaina, Abg Aidil, Ihsan, Kumayl, Udin, Qat and my fav one of all - BAQ!!!!
All the more crazy since we only set off close to 1 AM courtesy of me who only managed to knock off from work around midnight!
And so the journey to Stulang began as we set off in 3 cars, ate, talked, joked, laughed, started coughing one by one thanks to the smoke and gradually a few started to yawn thanks to the build up of fatigue and sleepiness in our bodies esp me.
And in our journey back, how some of the guys decided to go by the Woodlands Checkpoint amidst their worry of the rowdy bikers who accompanied the 3 cars as we travelled towards Tuas checkpoint. And how Abang Aidil tried to assure us in the car by saying, "You all dont worry. You got 2 policeman with you here." Yes boss. I almost forgot you're a policeman in national service.
And the funny thing, how Hafiz raced back home to send the fried rice for his family to sahur and how we all end up reaching home in Subuh.
What an adventure and what pure fun! Let's do it again!
And thank you to those who have to wait for me for more than 30 minutes outside MediaCorp. Really appreciate it!
